5 years ago, my mum gave me some money, so I thought shall I buy stuff for the kids, a new carpet etc. and then thought 'no, stuff it' started looking on-line and found a beautiful hotel, all-inclusive, 5 star in Cancuun, and booked to go for 2 weeks. I was sooooo excited Fern. Have been travelling before, but that's before I met the OH and had children.

After a 10 hr flight, in which I got thoroughly pished and flirted terribly with the gorgeous young man next to me, arrived in Cancuun. It was out of this world! beautiful room overlooking the Carribean. Met some really nice people, two girls from Wales were a scream, we went night clubbing and all the men I didn't take any taxi's, I went everywhere by bus, downtown Cancuun to all the markets, fab and sooo cheap. Went snorkling and swimming with dolphins, went to a lil remote Island for the day, ate, swam in the sea, was soooo clear, got pished again and danced on the beach. Got a massage on the beach too, but had trouble walking for 2 days, that was funny. Had my hair braided, got sooo tanned, it was like another world. Didn't phone home once (norty), only drawback was I came home with a Welsh accent

Two weeks after being home, I thought 'feck it' and booked myself into a hotel in Lanzarote for a week! no regrets Fern, none at all.

Have been to Paris a couple of times to visit my brother which was great fun...he is more of a girl than me and took me to some..well lets just say some very interesting places..
Am definitely gonna extend my horizons and get about a bit more though..I think it's a womans duty don't you?.. ...I'll save you a seat shall I..
