How much stuff have you got in the fridge? That can affect things.
I had it on 4 and 5 is the highest as nothing seemed cold, theirs not a lot in there, it was one of those ready made salads in a plastic box, I've turned it down to 3 now, it's a really odd fridge
Most fridges recommend running at the half-way setting. However if there's not much in the fridge then a slightly lower setting (as in number - thus a little less cold) is suggested.
