I love it when they put things like "by the end of the day" or "AM or PM"

That's a fat lot of good if you have a family to look after or shopping to be done or somewhere to go. Its not good enough for me. You are paying for them to deliver something when they can be bothered

Waiting for the council to come and fix the bathroom light, I'm getting bored after 5 hrs now, drums fingers

I reported a leak one afternoon and my council came at 1-15am

*wonders if Aimee's bathroom light has been fixed*

it's stupid that they have put in these new fixed light units, so every time the bulb goes they have to come out to change it

When they re-wired and put new central heating in not long ago. They put a circular fluorescent light in the bathroom. You can't buy them as far as I know and wouldn't change it myself anyway. So when it 'goes' the council will have to come and change that 

Sounds like they are the same as mine, I've got two in the kitchen as well and all three have had to be changed now. when the kitchen ones went I wasn't sure if the council changed them or not, the bloke came out and said don't ever change them yourself as they are about £9 each, it's seems an odd decision to put them in as now they will have to go to everyones houses every time a bulb goes, mine have only lasted two years

We have strip lighting in the kitchen. It went a few months back. Called the council. They said "we don't change the strip lighting in the kitchen. You will have to but one and change it yourself"

I did, much to my annoyance and it was £9

 

I have to pay nearly £96 a week rent and buy me own bliddy strip light. Disgraceful

I would have thought they would have changed those for you as I wouldn't know how to do it

It may only be our council that doesn't change them Aimee. I would certainly ask your council should yours conk out
