OMG  turned our backs for a moment and a piece of log has spit off and bounced and hit the sofa -  smelt fumes and saw the scorch and it has gone right through  the arm and another bit has burnt the carpet   

thank god we have it under control with a wet towel it could have been much worse

that was my first reaction   and I aint going for a while - I have to be sure everything is ok   bliddy cold though as we opened windows to let the fumes out

I dont think I could sleep after that anyway tbh

well it looks a mess and the fumes have gone - could have been much worse   a coffee and brandy are needed now

It most certainly could have been but wasn't thanks goodness
Better still a coffee and a double brandy
