Shame about the weather but woo woo about the carpet

We`re decorating the living room. The carpet is a burgundy colour and the walls are a warm but neutral shade (Dulux, "Nude Glow").

It does doesn't it!....will go via the canal...can be quite pretty in places!..

You are right Slim, it`s always piddling down up here. I was dropping my youngest at the station this morning and as he got out of the car he was muttering "I hate this bl***y country and its lousy weather". He was not a little ray of sunshine himself.

It's not too bad down here...we seem to miss a lot of the bad weather being in the bay!...although we live on a hill so when the wind blows it BLOWS!...& it's bliddy freezing!
