my neighbours dog does my head in

i love my neighbour dearly and she does apologise about the noise, but she looks after her sons staffie while he's at work, so she puts her dog upstairs *they don't get on* and it howls and crys ALL day

I used to phone my neighbours all hours of the day and night to check that they were ok because 'your dogs are barking and I wondered if they might be trying to get help to you'

It didn't stop the dogs barking, but it made me feel better
