Pretty interested
I'd say I like em and certain events.
It's the pinnacle of sporting achievement innit?
The knighthoods are on ice.
I will watch bits of it but I'm leaving the country just in case.
I want a proper old fashioned amateur to light the final flame and I think it should be Mary Peters.
God help me if it's true and it turns out to be that !#$! Seb Coe
Couldn't agree more on Seb Lord Coe
Where are you on it Carnelian?
I've just done the high jump to get back in here! I'll forget my password sooner than sooner!
Anyhoo. I live in the smoke and I'm so pissed of how normal life is being disrupted.
Yeah... the logistics will be interesting - amongst other things
Evening Xochs
Xochi, are the roads bad already with diversions etc?
I'm driving through tomorrow via London Bridge to Islington.

I'm quite looking forward to it and it being here kind of adds to the occasion even though I'm not attending any events. The UK character is to pour cold water on things but overall, I think having the Olympics will be a good thing, ignoring all the politics. GB did well last time, so if they can match that or improve on it, then it should be a good games.
Can't argue with that.
Cosi - I think she's caught in a traffic jam.
I don't like watching sports so I'll not be watching any of it.
I fear the same will apply to me tomorrow, Velvet

Islington via London Bridge?! Reset your satnav luv. But yeah, by all account the roads are gonna be deadlocked around now. I suggest you listen to a London radio station for the news. This, for example.
I've heard there's going to be some spectacular sights (i.e. fireworks, displays on buildings etc). I'd like to see that too.

B*gger. But thanks for that.
God help any gitting cyclists tomorrow.
You'll get no points for Chris Hoy.

Oh! Yeah! There is gonna be some awesome stuff going on. Remember how well we hosted the jubilee?
Nevermind Chris Hoy and the jubilee, look at this madness:
Bus Lane or Olympic Lane????
I think I may be getting a few penalty points...

Yep! It's a classic! ÂĢ130 for a contravention apparently!
Black cabs are gonna be sold out by now
I'd go for a silver beemer and improvise with the blue lights.

Addison Lee, me.
Do you have a maid?
If I go missing you'll find me residing in Holloway.
Do you have a maid?
She's had to go home.
If I go missing you'll find me residing in Holloway.
Nah. You'd talk yourself out of Belmarsh!
I bet you didn't break it gently

I try to shoot from the hip. I've done enough broken bones!

Oooh, I quite like the IOW.
Belmarsh? I couldn't possibly associate with the likes of Dave Courtney! Tsk!
That's on a good day.

I said Plumstead not Plum in mouth.
Another one with no code of practice.

Ya see? That's where you go wrong navigating London. Dodgy Dave won't go south of the river.
Very excited - I'm off to the dressage event next Saturday Wouldn't have been my first choice but beggars can't be choosers (my sons partner won them in a comp).
Looking forward to the whole thing!

I think it's marvellous that we've got 2 DD's covering both sides of the river.
Soozy, have fun
