I really like Andrew Buchan (plays Joseph)

I've been watching...tis excellent...and Joseph is quite nice!! Oooh and Peter Capaldi as a Wise Man and Jack Shepherd as Herod are also superb.


Can't wait for tomorrows episode...what a conversation that will be!!!

I'm enjoying it far more than I thought I would.  When I have always heard the story, there was really no mention of how the people would feel, how it fit together from the Bible verses.

Can you imagine explaing to your betrothed that you are carrying the son of God?  Now that is a DNA result that Jeremy Kyle would kill to reveal!

I agree though, it has been far better than I thought it would be as well. The story we all know from the bible gives no insight to how the whole thing really affected people. This is well worth watching!

*pictures the Arch Angel Gabriel next to Mary to comfort her    Joseph scowling then shouting that he's 1000% sure he's not the baby daddy  and God trying to interject from on high about how Mary came to be in the family way - meanwhile Jeremy tells God to shut up and behave himself on this show.  Then offers to get Graham to counsel Joseph*

Joseph is the quiet hero in this story, I am thoroughly enjoying it.  Its lovely to see it made fresh to new eyes.
