Whatever happened to that solicitor bloke who was trying to bring a private prosecution against the McCanns for neglect? Smacked of vexatious litigation to me at the time it was proposed but that's just my personal opinion.

I read the report Comrade, but tbh it's been translated awfully and is very difficult to read. I understand the inconsistencies and the evidence for and against but haven't made up my mind how I feel about it yet.

I do respect your belief in what this man is saying but I really dont think we will get much further then the last thread you made about the same thing. Most people dissagree with you and you have to respect that as well. You wont change their minds by posting again .

My personal take on it is that the parents tho neglectful, did not kill her or cover up anything and my heart goes out to them.

Although I posted on a previous thread this is the first I've started on the subject.

Whether most people disagreed with the findings of the official police investigation on the other thread or not is difficult to say.

If they do sue, which I doubt they will, I don't think they will win. Goncalo Amaral is basically just replicating what the entire Portugese Police concluded after their investigations.

... replicating it in media, if so, outside of the investigation which didn't result in a court case. That sounds like defamation to me.

There is something about him that I don't like too.

Also, it feels like he's just jumping on the money go round.

I tried last time to understand the article CO but the translation is terrible. But from the beginning I've never felt the MCCann's are the ones to be accused of Madeleine's disappearance. Frankly I hope they win a court case against that man.
