Just seen this on the tele. What a load of old shit. Oh see the snow, see the fireworks...yes, then you go on the London eye and as it's usually pissing down in London you just see a load of grey fuzz, not to mention it very rarely snows here. Yet another money making false marketing ploy from old Boris

What it should say is: Visit London, but do not travel on the underground between 7.30 - 9.30 or 5 - 7pm as you will risk your life, don't expect good weather, don't flash your Rolex on Oxford Street cos you wont be wearing it by the time you reach the other end, make sure you have at least 100 quid a head if you are planning on doing lunch in W1, dont ask Londoners for directions, they'll send you in the wrong direction , infact, probably best you stay where you are!

You were scared on the London eye???
We had Tussaud's season tickets a few years back, and we went on the London Eye several times.  The last time, we took my friend and her daughter, and by the time we were half way up to the top, I realised that she was the only person in the pod who was still sitting down.  Then I realised her knuckles were white from where she was gripping the seat, And her eyes were shut.  And she was praying quietly.   She never bothered to tell me that she was scared of heights
