Hello Little Cat, half-term already! That didn't seem very long.

That must have been a bit of a shock finding out about Honey and Seth.
How is Leroy feeling that Bea has gone? After all she is his little sister.

i don't really know what is going to happen mrs fluffy.
i fink that's what a lot of the shouting was about.
leroy says his daddy might get custardy


i didn't know he liked custard all that much or how it would help at all.

yuman beans are very strange.

leroy doesn't seem too worried about not seeing bea.
i fink he's getting a bit used to being parted from bruvvers and sisters. he's got two other bruvvers and two sisters that he doesn't see a lot of either - shelby and sapphire and keanu and kevin - they've all got different daddies from him.
he is fond of bea though cos he used to help his daddy look after her a lot in the evenings when honey went out. 
honey used to say she was going to an air robe hick class but apparantlee she wasn't - she was going to meet seth from the farm.
 leroy's daddy got suss pish uss when she kept leaving her lear tard at home and coming back  wiv straw in her hair.



 anyway leroy's been out seeing all his old friends that he used to know before he moved to the cottidge.
he's been seeing yaelle quite a lot.
aunty pet says yaelle seems a nice girl.
she says she hopes leroy has got better taste in ladies than his daddy has.
that's a funny thing to say.
i don't know what she means.
i've never seen leroy or his daddy going around tasting ladies.

hello tlc, it's lovely to hear from you again,  leroy is very lucky to have you as  a friend, you are always there for him. its not fishday friday but i do have some cod in the fridge - help yourself

Leroy's daddy came around last night to talk to aunty pet - she's his sister you know.
he's very upset about honey and seth.
he said he asked honey if seth was better in bed than he was and honey said yes.
if that's the case i can understand honey going off with someone else.
being good in bed is very important.
it's very important to us cats too.
in my life i've got to know who is good in bed and who isn't.


for instance - leroy is very good in bed but aunty pet's big man is terrible.
the big man's feet reach right down to the bottom of the bed and when i'm laying asleep on the bottom of the bed he stretches his legs out and he's accidentally pushed me off the bed onto the floor several times.
also he keeps getting up and going to the toilet for a wee.
he says he can't help it cos it's his pross trayt  but it's very disturbing for me, cos every time he gets up he throws the bed clothes back and sometimes they go right over my head and bury me.
then there's his snoring.
it's very loud and disturbs me.
 sometimes its so loud he wakes himself up with a big jump and then has to toss and turn about until he can settle again.
altogether i find it very difficult to get a decent sleep on his bed.


i used to end up getting off the bed altogether and going downstairs to my comfy cat basket and a bit of peace.




leroy is so good though.
he lays quiet and still all night and i can curl up in the bend of his knees and settle down for the whole night.
he never gets up until morning and never disturbs me.


i don't know if leroy's daddy is as bad in bed as the big man, cos honey would never allow me to sleep on their bed (she said i carried germs!!!!! )  - but if he is i can understand her going off with someone who was better.
i spect she's just tired out and needs a good night's sleep.


she hadn't got a nice comfy basket downstairs like i had.

by the way, marguerita - ovver people have said i ought to put my adventures in a book but somebody said it wouldn't do for children cos it was full of somefink called " doobelle on tondrez"..
i don't know what these fings are - do you?
i've looked and looked but i can't see anything unusual.


they said it was fings that would make grown up yumans laugh but yuman kittens wouldn't understand.
i got the impression these doobelle fings were a bit rude but i never ever put anything rude in my diary do i?

Little Cat == I have no clue what doobelle or tondrez means lol  and I have never ever seen anything rude in your diaries and I have been reading them for years ..since the begining,like all childrens books if you have writing with pictures they will get the gist of the story I am glad you like your four poster bed have a nice peaceful sleep tonight and will call back tomorrow,take care

I think you diary is just great as it is and you shouldn't change a thing.  I also think putting your adventures in book is a brilliant idea so we can read and re-read what you are up to ==

i wonder if machel will call today.
praps not cos she brought me some fish not long ago,,,,,,

it sounds as if leroy and me might not be living at the cottidge all that much longer.
leroy's daddy was telling aunty pet about it.
the cottidge really belongs to honey cos her grandma left it to her when she went to Ceiling Cat in the sky.
leroy's daddy was saying that honey wants to come back and live in the cottidge wiv seth now but she wants me and leroy and leroys daddy to move out.
i don't see why we can't all live there - it's a big cottidge with lots of rooms.
i can't ask these questions though - only being a cat.
i just have to listen and try to work fings out.
anyway leroys daddy was saying honey couldn't have the cottidge now - even though her grandma had given it her -  cos he had put a lot of money into it and worked his bullocks off for months doing it up. 


now this was surprising to me.
i know every inch of that cottidge and i've not seen piles of money lying around anywhere.
also i'm sure leroy's daddy is telling fibs about the bullocks.
he hasn't got any bullocks.
as far as i know he's never had any.
seth has a lot of bullocks - i've seen them!
but that's cos he lives on a farm and there's bullocks and cows and sheeps and hens.
praps leroy's daddy borrowed some of seth's bullocks to do the cottidge wiv.
but what could bullocks do????
i can't see they'd be any good at building and painting.
i suppose they could pull a little cart wiv the stuff in, but leroy's daddy used a van for that - i remember.


 it's another one of these yuman missterrys

it's been very quiet here the last couple of days.
i fink i'll have to go back to the cottage tomorrow cos arfturm is nearly over and leroy has to go back to skool on monday.
that's if we can still go and live in the cottidge of course...........

That's a tough one, but you'll probably have to live in the cottage for now until Leroy's daddy and Honey sort out their argument about how much Leroy's daddy put into the cottage. Even if you cant see the things.

i'm not sure what leroys daddy wants.
i heard him say "i'll swing for her if she tries to bring that overseckst stroretuein oyk in here". i've no idea what that last part means, have you?
but if he's going to swing for her it must be something nice mustn't it?
do you think he means he's going to do that clever swinging on a trap-hees like they do in circuses to make her laugh and clap?
praps he thinks that if he puts on a little trap-hees show for her she'll forget about him not being very good in bed and keeping her awake at night and they'll be friends again.  
very interesting.
i wonder where he'll put the swinging trap-hees thing up.
he could do it in the barn i suppose.
i hope i get to watch.

I'm not 100% sure, but I can tell it's something that means he Dislikes Seth very very much.

When he says he'll 'Swing for her' he doesn't mean a trapeeze act, he means something agains the law that is so bad that he would be hanged (if they still had hanging as a punishment) The swinging refers to the lifeless body swinging on the end of the hangmans rope.
I really don't think you would want to see that.

just popped in to do a quick sweep and polish, the fridge is clean and ready for fishday friday, it's the end of term on friday and tlc may be visiting

leaving some cream and tuna in the fridge for tlc or any other cat who may be passing

hello everyone - i'm back.

i've been told that today is good friday.

i fort every friday was a good friday becos it's fish day.

or is that only for us cats?

are yumans only allowed fish today then?

 

anyway here i am at last.

 

i fort i was going to be here sooner but i didn't come back till today cos honey has been looking after me - quite well for a change acksurely!

she's left seth and come back to leroy's daddy.

she said she found out seth had been giving another girl one while he was giving her her one!

one what?

she never said.

i can't understand it.

i don't see that it matters if seth gives ovver people presents but apparantlee it does to honey.

 

anyway she's come back to leroy's daddy and she says she's very very sorry she went off with seth.

she says she doesn't know what came over her.

she said fings had been getting on top of her.

leroy's daddy said he didn't want to hear about that!

 

she says leroy's daddy is much better end owd than seth anyway.

she says seth only had a little tiddler compared with leroys daddy.

 

i haven't a clue what any of this means.

i don't know what end owd means but i fink a little tiddler is a small fishy you catch in ponds.

i know, cos leroy had some in a jam jar one day that he'd got out of the duck pond wiv a net.

i wanted to eat them but leroy wouldn't let me.

i don't know what happened to them.

he must have given them to his daddy and they grew big - bigger than any seth could catch i spose.

 

all the same i can't see why the size of little fishies should matter to honey. - unless she wanted to eat them too.

she said that seth told her that size wasn't everyfing but she didn't agree.

she must like a lot of fish.

i can understand that - i do myself!

but i can't see her eating little fish out of the duck pond!

it's a mystery - but then all yuman stuff is a mystery to me.

 

anyway she seems glad to be back and can't do enough for leroy's daddy and leroy..... and even ME - for a change!

 

leroys daddy seems glad to have honey back too.

they've gone off on holly daze for a second hunny moon.

leroy's daddy isn't going to work next week so they won't be back for ten days.

aunty pet says they'll miss the wedding (wot wedding????)

she says they're having a street party.

 

leroy's daddy said bullocks to the street party - he would have better fings to do.

it's going to be a funny party if bullocks are going to rampaging all over the tables though.

i fink i'll keep well away.

 

i wonder what better fings leroy's daddy has to do.

 

no doubt i'll find out in due course.

 

 

hello tlc , its lovely to hear from you again and as its fishday friday there will be some prawns and cream in the fridge,  i think you might enjoy the street party - there will be lots of food and opportunities to play and everyone will be in a happy mood

Hello! Can't stop long. Weather lovely... My cats are very well. We are having a barbecue later. Spent the morning at the tramway museum having rides on trams! Great fun!

but wot about the bullocks machel?????

they are big animals - and very rough!

don't worry about the bullocks tlc, there won't be any - its just something humans say when they are not impressed with what is happening,  today is Easter Sunday and my daughter has some chocolate eggs to eat, taylor has a catnip egg and there is one on top of the fridge for you to eat   but not all at once!!!

Woweeeee! a catnip egg!!!!!!

 

of course i won't eat it all at once......

we haven't seen tlc for a while - i hope the street party didn't end in a CATastrophe !

here i am again - it seems a long time since i was here last but i've been very busy.

i was here at aunty pet's for that wedding and the street party.

they had the party in the road outside aunty pet's house. everyboddy was dressed up in red and white blue things and waving little flags.

leroy tried to make me wear a little red white and blue party hat that was held under my chin wiv elastic.

i didn't like it.

i kept rubbing my head against things and pawing at it until i got it off.

then leroy put a red white and blue round silky thing, that he said was called a rose hett, on my collar.

that wasn't so bad, in fact i thought it looked rather cool.

 

there was chickin at the party and some salmon and cream.

I had so many bits of food from everyone i ended up feeling a bit sick.

i thought i'd never want to eat anything ever again!!!

i missed having a friend there though.

mr tom wasn't there - or nermal. (i bet nermal's quite grown up by now.)

most of all I missed felix.

 

there were some animals there though.

hamish - the man who wears a skirt - had brought his two little white yappy doggies with him.

they ran round all excited all the time, yapping like mad and trying to steal food off the table and people's plates.

they are very norty.

 i never steal food - i wait quietly to be given some.

i've got nice mannaz, aunty pet says.

 

everybody was drinking lots of brown stuff out of glasses.

hamish drank loads as usual and then started to get very loud and wanting to fight.

he got very upset when people sang god save the queen cos he said there was a bit in that song about scottish people that wasn't at all nice.

he said it didn't make any difference that people didn't sing that bit of the song any more - it was still there and it showed what us sassy nacks really thought about people like him.

then he got all fierce again.

 

when i was totally full up i left them to it and came inside the house for a rest.

those yappy scottie dogs were bothering me.

i wonder if they are mentioned in god save the queen too.

 

i think it was a good party but it looked a bit of a mess outside when they'd finished.  

after the street party i went back to the cottidge wiv leroy and his daddy and honey.

at least they're all being nice to each other now.

no more shouting and people crying all over the place like before.

seth has gone away for a while.

i don't know if he'll be coming back or not.

 

baby bee isn't really a baby any more now.

 she's walking about all over the place.

she keeps following me and trying to get hold of my tail.

i don't like it.

honey was talking about her to leroy's daddy a while ago and she said that now bee wasn't a baby any longer did he think they ought to have another one.

i fink she was talking about buying another baby.

oh dear !

everytime she goes out to the shops now i look in her basket when she gets back to see if she's bought one yet.

nothing so far......
