Have you still got the dead pigeon LC? They are lovely to roll in, they have a great smell. My yuman doesn’t like it though because last time I rolled in a dead pigeon she made me go for abaf because she said I had apong. Baffs are good fun but they spoil the nice smell of dead pigeon. I’m confused about these nuts. My yuman says that Les the vet is a bit of a nut at times. I don’t know which bit is the nut but I can’t imagine eating my Les the vet. But then again…

oh nermal - what lovely presence.
i'm so pleased about the feather because i used to have a speshul feather ages ago and it got lost in all the moves.
 this one is even nicer.

a swan is a very big bird nermal.
us cats don't chase swans for two reasons.
first because they are mostly swimming about on water. yuk.
and second because they are bigger than us cats and very, very fierce.
they hiss better than us cats too.
you can share some of the posh cat food with me nermal - that's if you've any room after polishing off all that cod........
The Little Cat
no i haven't still got the dead pigeon baggie.
the big man wrapped it in some newspaper and put it in the bin.
he looked very fed up.
he says it stopped him getting his oats this morning - but i don't see how it could have,
for one thing it was too dead to do anything and for another thing he has toast in the morning not oats.
The Little Cat
good morning tlc and crew i don't think taylor has settled in yet, its nearly three months since we moved home and he still insists on sleeping under the bed, he always went to sleep on someones feet (mr machels if he fell asleep first!) He isn't going outside much either, though he does like looking through all the windows,
machel
My ex girlfriend used to have a cat called Moo. Moo had a tendency during the night to sleep on her owner's chest, so that when her owner woke up she would think she was having a heart attack!

Moo was a very clever cat because she could read the time on the clock. She would always wake up her owner at 6.30. Her owner knew Moo could read the time because even when the clocks went forward or back an hour, Moo would still wake her up at 6.30.

I wish MY cat knew how to tell time.  I'd like him to know that breakfast is at SEVEN A.M., and no earlier!
It's not so bad during the week, because I get up earlier, but on weekends, I'd like to sleep in a bit....
Lori
good afternoon tlc and crew taylor is good at telling the time, especially when its 3.15 and my little girl is due home from school, he knows to hide (she likes to play!), i don't need an alarm clock as taylor always wakes me up when the dawn breaks, summer or winter
machel
hi tlc and crew. been struggling to post on here recently. Anyway, it is my mums 65th birthday tomorrow (fishday) so we are going to chatsworth for afternoon tea. I will save my salmon sandwiches for you as i can't bear the stuff. I will place them in a napkin in my handbag surrupticiously for you!
Belle
I've just come in from shopping which included some honey and some salmon, I've already got the bread and tissues, some if Belle fails to deliver, I can let you have some syrup tissue salmon sandwiches.
El Loro
Fishday Friday good afternoon tlc and crew, I'm a little late today because i went into town and bought some lovely fresh haddock (fish pie for tea) there is some cream from mr machel's trifle and a bone for bagabones. Taylor is now venturing outside, although strange noises still frighten him. i like sandwiches made of cheese and tomato, wrapped and stored in a pocket/bag until they go soggy! (reminds me of school when we went out on trips)
machel
Woo thank you for the fishy treats machel.
dee lish uss.
i'm glad tayor is going outside now. it's lovely weather for us cats just now and there are loads of birdies about doing busy birdie things and not taking a lot of notice about cats creeping up on them.
i'm so glad all that nasty snow has gone. i didn't think it ever would.

Hi Belle, I went to Chatsworth for afternoon tea for MY birthday too. It was lovely. We had Champagne afternoon tea and I don't remember there being any salmon sandwiches at all. I can't stand smoked salmon but I like tinned salmon. (Shows what a pleb I am at heart!)  They wouldn't give tinned salmon sandwiches at Chatsworth - much too common - and I would certainly have noticed smoked salmon.
Hope the weather keeps nice for you.
Don't forget to go in the house and look at the exhibition from "The Duchess" that was filmed there.

Me, too (except for the soggy part! )

*thinks nostalgically about HER visit to Chatsworth*
Lori
HEY! It was really nice and there was salmon sandwiches. we had a gass of rose wine too. it was lovely. They have opened up a new bit in the house which is all done up and rearranged the exhibitions too. Really had a nice day. The sun shone until about 3pm. I bought a few bits from the farm shop too. It's lovely stuff but only for a treat. My mum ate the salmon, but I have brought you cats some prawns if that's OK. My favourite thing at chatsworth is the door with the violin painted on it which TRYULY looks like a real violin. I remember it from my childhood and it is still a wonderful optical illusion!

Fishday Friday, good morning tlc and crew tuna for tea, cream from mr machel's trifle and a salmon treat for nermal, i haven't forgotten bagabones - there is a bone for him. Taylor is now exploring outside, he sits on top of the fence looking at all the other cats!

Hi Machel! Thanks for all the bones. Now the weather is getting better for yumans (it’s always good for us pets) we are getting out more. My yumans don’t need to put as many coats on as they did a few weeks ago. Pity they didn’t let their fur grow like us pets then they wouldn’t need all the stuff they have to carry around. They can grow hair you know. I’ve seen it on Les the Vet and my yuman and the nice perl ice lady. And not only on their head. Les the vet is very lucky as she has loads of hair but she keeps it covered up when she goes out. My yuman and the nice perl ice lady say it’s nice to snuggle into. I feel a bit sorry for my yuman. Her other hair is a bit thin with bald patches. When I was in the rez cue there was a puppy dog there with the same problem. He scratched himself all day so his hair couldn’t grow. The nice perl ice lady is very strange. Her hair is in a narrow straight line, it looks a bit like a caterpillar I used to play with. It can’t be very warm on a cold night. I think yumans really envy us. That’s why they stroke our hair-because they haven’t got enough of their own.

where is everyone? i hope tlc is alright - she never misses fishday friday, or bigtom and bagabones. Belle - it must be your little boy's first birthday soon, any plans?
I was here all the time machel.
i couldn't get on the puter though.
leroy was off school on friday becos of east her olly daze and he came round to aunty pets "to see his favourite aunty" he said.
only i think he came round to use the puter because his one at home has got the blue screen of deff.
he has spent hours and hours at the puter on faze buk and twittering and tweeting - only silently.
i could hear the birdies outside twittering and tweeting but i couldn't hear leroy - even though that's what he was doing apparently.

leroy said i ought to have a page on faze buk but it doesn't look much good for cats.

anyway that's why i wasn't able to say thank you for the fishy and stuff machel, but i ate it all and enjoyed it.
i haven't seen mr tom lately though.

leroy has gone out on his bike now so that's why i can get to the puter at last.
sorry if you were worried about me machel.
The Little Cat
good morning... I have not been on the puter all weekend... sometimes you just don't feel like it.... anyway, Yes Machel, minibel (no longer babybel, more toddlerbel) will be 1 year old on Good friday. Gutted though, have you seen the weather forecast? After some lovely days of sunshine, they are giving out the horrid white stuff again. I really need some sunshine as it is going to be mad on his birthday when i have lots of people over for a party. 10 children in all.... I think I am crazy! We have a lovely big garden which would have been ideal for an easter egg hunt, but alas i fear we will have to stay indoors. Please animals and humans do a sun dance for friday x x x
Belle
  Ten children!!??!?!
*starts the weeklong sun dance*

Belle, the year my daughter turned six, we invited 5 other little girls over for a sleep-over.  I thought 6 was young enough that it would be OK.  Ha!  There was no sleeping.
Lori
Just popped in to say the yuman at the Farm are all excited. Apparently there is a big weeding in the summer....I suppose with all this extra space lots of weeds will pop up, but I don't know why the yumans would get all a giggle over it

Nermal has found an old shoe in the barn he now like to drag around.
Big Tom Cat
are you sure its a weeding, mr tom? could you have heard it a bit wrong?
leroy's daddy and his legover lady, called honey, are having a webbing this summer and everyone is getting excited and giggly about that too.
do you think yours might be a webbing too?
they were going to have the webbing about now because honey is up a duff apparently  .... whatever that means ...  but now leroy's dad says honey wants to wait until she has popped for the webbing because she wants to look nice in her webbing dress.
i have no idea what they are talking about.
i'm not surprised honey is going to pop though - she eats ever such a lot and she's started to get quite fat.
aren't yumans funny creatures- eating and eating and getting fatter and fatter until they pop like a balloon.
i wonder if someone will have to stick a pin in her to make her pop.

by the way, nermal must be a very strong little cat if he can drag a barn around.
The Little Cat
Hi, LC:  Remember when we had that discussion a while back about how being "up a duff" means that a yuman is going to have a yuman kitten?  That's why she's getting fat, because the kitten is growing inside of her.  They won't have to pop her, though:  when the kitten is ready, it'll come out.
Lori
Good morning TLC and crew.
I am sending you all happy easter vibes.
In case you are wondering what easter is all about, It is an old pagan festival to celebrate the coming of spring. Yumans exchange chocolate eggs to represent the bringing forth of life, and talk about bunnies and chicks because they are deemed to be signs of fertility. As you know, the rabbits can be rather frisky and excitable.
Some people called Christians, also think about Jesus at this time of year, who is a man who lived a long time ago. He was very anti the Romans who ruled his land at the time and so they got a bit off with him and had him killed. Rumour has it that "on the third day he rose again in accordance with the scriptures [that'd be easter sunday]. He is seated at the right hand of the father [that'd be god], and will come again in glory [that'd be in big robes, no doubt] to judge the living and the dead". That quote comes from a thing called the Eucharist which I was made to repeat at church when I was in the girl guides. It has always stuck with me, because in my imagination I thought God was a very large man in a big pink dress who had people sitting on his hands and Jesus just happened to be on the right one. I was mistaken, though because God does not have a body, he is a kind of idea more than anything, used to co-erce people into doing things that other people want them to do. Other Yumans may dissagree with my assessment though. Yumans find things like this hard to agree on. Artymags for example believes in the flying spaghetti monster, but I think that is complete rubbish!

Au contraire - I have changed my religion and abandoned the mighty F.S.M.
I am now a member of the Church of the Invisible Pink Unicorn. That REALLY exists - if you only have faith.

Here you go...... I told you it existed. lol

""The Invisible Pink Unicorn is a being of great spiritual power. We know this because it is capable of being invisible and pink at the same time. Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorn is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that it is pink; we logically know that it is invisible because we can't see it."
— Steve Eley

I even have a tee shirt with an invisible pink unicorn on - so that PROVES it exists!
Åŗтγмαģš
i am struggling to join you in this one Artymags. I just can't beleive a higher being would choose pink. If I was invisible, i would be a nice shade of purple or inky blue.
Hope you are well by the way x
Belle

Everyone should believe in something. I believe in the Goddess. I have 2 full time and a part time one. My 2 full time are my yuman and Les the vet and the part time is the nice perl ice lady who comes here often. We are all very seasonal. We do tend to worry towards the end of the year that the sun gets so tired that one day we will wake up and it won’t be there. So about Yule time when we wake up and the sun is a bit stronger than it was the previous day we are really pleased and loads of people give me biscuits and turkey. Right now we are so relieved that the weather is getting better everything can start to grow including flowers and pets and minibelles. Someone called Oestra is in charge of fertility and eggs so I get loads of chocolate eggs. I also get chocolate rabbits but they don’t look anything like the ones in the drawer. Right now I believe I’ll have a lie down and a lick of my latest bone. I wonder if the invisible pink unicorn was outside last night because something very suspect was going on.

Eeek ! PURPLE ???? Know you not that the arch enemy of the Invisible Pink Unicorn (may her pink hooves never be shod) is the unholy vessel of all that is evil - the devilish PURPLE oyster ??

As it says thus in the pink Holy Manuscripts :-

"For I did see my unworthiness in Her sight, for I was a sinner, destined forever to spend existence in the presence of the unholy Purple Oyster, waxing his shell and massaging his most wretched and slimy feet. For lo, the Purple Oyster doth truly have feet, and the legs thereof, and the toes thereof, giving him dominion over all the clams of the seas, and allowing him to go unto the children of men, and tempt them unto destruction." — The Revelation of St. Bryce the Long-Winded (Partial), Chapter One, Verses 9 to 11
