If any pussy cats come into my garden and we don’t know them, my yuman and Les the Vet race for the water pistol and shoot at the pussy cat. It makes them run very fast. I only want to go out and play with them but my yuman says they will scratch my face. I don’t know why, I just want to be friends. I don’t know why pussy cats run so fast when they get shot with the water pistol. I like it, I jump up and down and bark and try and catch the water. Of course, LC and all our friends are welcome to our garden any time and can play with the water pistol with my yuman and Les the Vet.

bagabones.. was it you i saw in the park this morning at about 8.30??
Someone looking very like you came dashing across the grass, then straight into the fishing lake, said hello to the ducks, then got out and chased a butterfly and disappeared out of view.

This dog was so fast that I couldn't catch the exact look of the animal, but he was running just like you... I was thinking about you a lot this morning actually. hoping you were a happy puppy. x

I do go to the park and say hello to the ducks but when we are in the park my yuman needs me on her lead to show her the way to go. However, when we are out in the country I know my yuman is quite safe so I run all over the place. It wouldn’t have been me at that time on a wee kend though. Les the Vet and my yuman never get out of bed until quite late but they let me out to play in our garden whilst they play at making noises in bed. I am really a very happy and gay well behaved puppy!

In that case you must have a doppleganger!
i am glad you are happy and well behaved. and that is very good of you helping your yuman and les the vet across the park. it can be a daunting experience. our park has lots of golf balls, kites and other unidentified flying objects whooshing around.. with that and the mad ducks it is quite an experience going for a walk.

It sounds like the same park to me. It’s hard work but a lot of fun taking my yuman round there. She always wants to go in a different direction to me so I have to pull her very hard. Strange though, with Les the Vet we always seem to want to go in the same direction and she never struggles. When she stops walking I even sit down while she has a little rest.
Bagabones
i am mortified. it is hard to even maintain a straight tail right now. you all told me it was ok to go to the vet.
so when my male yuman got the cage uot and said we were going back on account of me now having 3 great big holes in my head, i was almost looking forward to it...

i will never ever ever get in that cage again.

i have a stupid cone on my head and they won't let me out. i have even got the stupid litter tray back to do my business in.

the indignity of it all. Crying
SC
oh no sukey cat - not the lampshade on the head business!
that's terrible.
i've had that twice now.
the first time i was only very very young and i thought i looked cool - but only for a little while.
after about a day of it i soon got really fed up.
you can't eat properly with those things on your head can you? and you can't play with your toys either.
why do people do that to you, do you think? Confused
they never let you out when you've got a lamp shade on your head. i know why as well.
it's because they feel ashamed of other people seeing you like that. they know you look stupid and they know other people will know your yumans have made you look stupid like that - and they feel ashamed.

so they should too!

it's a disgace, i think - to do that to a poor cat. Frowner
as if you hadn't got enough to worry about sukey - with that abb sess on your head without having to look like a pratt in a lampshade as well.!!!! Mad

and having to do your little necessary things in a litter tray as well - in full view of everyone with a lampshade on your head!!!!

could there be anything more demeaning?
The Little Cat
this is terrible. i have been looking really droopy all night and i did my best to make sleeping as difficult as possible for my yumans, but they haven't rescinded. Mad

i have the stupid thing on my head. how am i gonna clean my fur? i have meowed for 2 hours this morning and they keep plonking me on the litter tray, but i refuse to wee. i will not go in there. i am holding on. how long do you think i will have to hold on for? Eeker

and what is more i have seen them let polly out so i know it is possible... they are just being so mean to me. and i haven't done anything wrong. Angry

and when i do poo, how will i lick my bottom? will my yumans lick it for me do you think? Big Grin
SC
hi tlc and crew Smiler

poor sukey *tickles tum*

when i went shopping yesterday i bought a new toy for tlc, but i think you might need it as well sukey, it is a base with three tall springs and with a "mouse" on the end of each, you will be able to catch the mice as they move about Smiler
i thought you might need it when it is raining or too hot to go outside (or in sukey's case not allowed)
have fun Smiler
machel
i have weed in the litter tray. i did it when no one was looking. looks like i'm in for another day of this at least. i know that cos the female yuman put clean stuff in the litter tray, and let polly out but not me. this is the worst week of my life. she did let me have the lampshade off for a few minutes but as soon as i got round to cleaning my head, back it went again. grrrrr.

i've just had a salmon sandwich, would you like some?
machel
poor poor sukey?

i can't understand why your yumans are doing this to you. i thought you said you had nice yumans. Confused

fancy not letting you clean your poorly head too !
that must be awful.
things like that always itch so much when they're getting better.
you must want to rub the itchyness all the time and they won't let you get at it!

i can't understand it.
you must have been a very bad cat for them to punish you like that.

can't you remember what you're supposed to have done wrong ?????
The Little Cat
well little cat, i really don't know. but i think they are forgiving me...

last night they let me have my cone off for a little while and i licked my whole body. they wouldn't let me scratch my poorly bits tho. they were very sure about that. Mad
then this morning mummy opened the back door and let me out for a good half hour until it started raining, then she scooped me up and took be back inside. i was a bit relieved to be honest. i'll never manage to clean the rain off my fur with this lampshade affair will i?

anyway. all this door shutting and whatnot is really confusing me and polly. Confused but we are getting lots of whiskers temptations which are yummy. I like the cheese flavour best.

i'd quite like to go out again now though... may be if i meow lots again she will let me out soon? Big Grin

You are so lucky! When we have a wee kend my yuman buys I scream from a musical car. We all have an I scream cone and I love licking the inside of my cone before I eat it. Les the Vet told my yuman that she would love to lick her cone also but my yuman was too fast for her.

oh thank you machel.

i didn't like to mention it was fish day today in case it was bad luck and you didn't come (like last week.)

But here you are and here is the lovely fish.

I'm going to make sure poor little sukey has an extra big share. Nod
The Little Cat
that's what the horrible noisy baby in our house likes. i haven't tried banana. I like whiskers cheese and chicken treats and the pets at home chicken in a tin and the science plan dried food. we have chicken flavour because mummy doesn't like the smell of fish. Sometimes i decide not to like it anymore then we get different things. I like to sniff mummys wine too. I hate real roast chicken.
SC
when you've had a hard life like i have you tend not to be quite as fussy about your food.

i've sometimes had to eat anything i could find so i don't say no to things like chickin and fish because they are so much better than some things i used to have to eat. besides prawns are my favourite food in all the world. Nod

when i first came to live with aunty pet she gave me stuff i didn't really think was proper food.
it was called royal canin food.
it was little brown crunchy things.
i hated them at first but i really like it now. there's lots of different sorts.

my very favourite is "royal canin digestive comfort". it tastes scrummy and aunty pet says it's good for my tummy and my bough ills - whatever they are. Confused

aunty pet bought me some of those chick in and cheese whiskas things.
yuk Sick

i really don't like them. she even tried hiding some amongst my royal canin but i spotted every single one and picked them out and dropped them on the floor. then i pretended to scratch earth over them. Ninja
i think aunty pet has got the message now. Laugh
The Little Cat
i only went and managed to get it off!!!!
my yuman was in the garden reading a book called "gobbolino the witch's cat" and when she wasn't looking i managed to extract myself and went down the bottom of the garden to show that nasty big orange cat exactly how much better i look without my lampshade. he wasn't there so i went back to talk to mummy. she put it back on. =Roll Eyes=

*eating banana while taylor is out*

hi tlc and crew Smiler
taylor will only eat food in gravy , he hates anything in jelly and his biscuits have to be whiskas (chicken) although they are "dental protection plus" he will eat any cooked meat or fish. Along with banana's he also likes yoghurts and will stalk love my little girl when she has one

sukey i am glad you have your cone back on your head it is to help heal your head Nod it probably won't be on for much longer
machel

I came here to let you all know that the lampshade has been reinstated. Oh I look so silly. I have been sitting on the big compost box behind the shed so no one can see me, but then the wicked yuman female took me in, so here i am on the PC. (as in personal computer, not pussy cat; I am the pussy cat). they took me back to the silly vet again, and she had a look at my tummy. she says I might have ringworm. I think i have just grown some extra nipples. Roll Eyes but worms in my tummy?? she is going crackers that vet. I am sure I would know if i had eaten any worms which i haven't. just flies and spiders and scienceplan. Nod

hi tlc and crew Smiler

i noticed that bagabones was up very late, i hope it is not you encouraging taylor to stay out all night Frowner and bringing home another wild rabbit doesn't help either Eeker

living in a friendly neighbourhood i often keep my back door open when it's warm (the weather not the door) this means monty walks in but now he has a new sister and she walks in too, all the cats are friendly (as one would expect) but my home resembles a refuge at times

Well Sukey Cat. You know what these yumans are like. We pets go to bed and we walk round a few times then settle down. We don’t bother anyone. My yuman and Les the Vet get into bed and they are quiet and still at first. Then the trouble starts. They start to make noises, then they start to wriggle about then either one or both of them start to get really loud and jump up and down and it just isn’t possible to stay on the bed. I wander round or settle on the blanket machel gave me until the bed settles down a bit then go back and join them. Sometimes it starts all over again in the morning but I’m usually out by then. We kends are worse. It can go on for half the day when I should be out chasing sticks.

i prefer to chase the leaves. they are funny. Big Grin
i am not allowed to do that at the moment. the lampshade affair has gone back on and i am very cross about it. =Mad=
my yumans don't get much sleep at the moment because the yuman kitten likes to shout and play in the night and they keep giving him a bottle to play with but he is very stupid and they have to hold it for them. i try to get in the cot and play too but they don't seem to like it. Confused
we all swap beds lots of times in the night. it is great fun. my male and female yuman sometimes end up in different beds because the man yuman doesn't want to play in the night so he goes in another room and shuts the door.
i'm surprised my female yuman likes playing bottles in the night because she is not looking so good in the mornings. she keeps forgetting our food and gets all confused and loses her things. Roll Eyes apparently she lost her cherry. i have been looking for it all over the house whilst i have been barracaded in, but i can't find it either. Frowner
