The L.F/'Secret Channel' etc issue (Pls don't close)

Okay now I know there's probably been quite a few of these but I wanted to do this because otherwise myself, Electric6 and VideoStar would be hijacking a thread about the so-called "Midnight Embargo News" in that thread.

Basically I wanted to sort of point out, that a friend of mine over @ Sky told me this week that he'd been informed by Endemol that the "Secret Channel" (Freq' 12005 on Sky T.V) although is used through the same 'network' as the R.B feed, essentially is running continuously throughout BB as per the Production Teams networking (or something).

I tried that freq' the other night and had a multicoloured screen with the whining beep noise and in the corner "BB10" in white lettering on black background, since then it has disappeared and I only have a black screen.

I guess what I am saying is, it is completely possible and almost plausable to think that this freq' may still be available throughout the daytime when C4/E4 switch off the 'Red Button' connection.

-- There will more than likely be other ways to access the L.F throughout the daytime as well so stay tuned and anything I find out from my insiders at Sky/Possibly Endemol I'll pass on

Yeah I had Sky installed in my bedroom recently (last week, although my parents have had it upstairs for a long time now: Why I still live here is another story for another time btw LOL).

But I thought about the fact of barely no LF and it annoyed me to no-end because one of the main reasons I got it now instead of waiting until Sept/Oct was for BB!

I was on JustinTV last year for my work computer, trouble was C4 kept hunting the poor sod down & blocking the sites, I think after the 5th or 6th Justin gave up.

I really can't get my head around the point of no live feed. they can spin all the crap they like...it's just not right without it.

videoclips on the site, exclusive news stories...no one cares... (bar the likes of my 14 year old who can sneak on the site in IT lessons at school)...they are the only ones who bother with all that gumph. The kids.

Us hardcore fans need it

I managed to watch almost all of bb last year.
As fast as ch4 closed one site another one opened up.
It was just a case of looking out for the links.

Does my head in when I think about it. They have to film 24 hours a day anyway to compile the highlights. It just doesn't make any sense!

Essex, I found it on Justin right till the end, I think you just had to keep searching for who had it it streaming...for ages I was watching it online through a fella who had a webcam pointed to his TV screen

It was handy for when the other three (rude and inconsiderate!

) people who live here wanted a break from BB

I think they deliberately set up tasks, parties, situations and HMs to stir up as much controversy as possible (for ratings!)...then the inevitable column inches turned into complaints...by then they had backed themselves into a corner.

They can't really lose face now and potential HMs now usually are of the "look at me" types anyway (due to the precedent BB set up themselves in the first place)

So this way they can sweep anything they like under the carpet. It is far from the experiment and chance to be a voyeur on "normal" human behaviour in an extraordinary situation it once was

I actually think CH4 want rid of it. I just hope Endemol still have faith in it (and out particular way of doing it, because I'm not a fan of some of the other formats, especially the American one-which to me is OVERTLY a game show)

This was their INITIAL slogan back in 2000 (Well in 1999 when the first BB ever aired in Europe)

I'd love to be proved wrong but they stopped us watching on 12005 on CBB, so I'd be very surprised if they brought it back, oh we'll we'll soon know.

They blocked 12005 during CBB when they realised people were able to watch it. I think they will do the same for BB10

I watched BB on 12005 for a couple of years and when they stopped L/F on CBB 12005 was unavailable, it seemed like the start of them cutting back. If it comes back it would be great but I'm feeling apprehensive atm, hope I'm wrong though

I don't recall ever being able to watch the CBB's on 12005 or the R.B tbh... No reality show that I can recall which has featured a "celeb" version has ever done the 24/7 thing on the celeb version... 0_o

And yeah I did get the "BB10" With multicoloured lines and beeping noise the other day.

Well that's totally strange because I was never able to get Celeb BB on 12005/The R.B...

And IIRC there was a big debate over at the CH4BBF's about why Celeb's are allowed less footage/coverage throughout the day/night than 'regular' HMs just b/c they're "Celebs" when they're putting themselves in exactly the same situation(s).

I thought the live feed may have been stopped on CBB6 due to Latoya, on account she had to be superglued back together every morning.
