Did any of you notice in last nights show when they were scouring the rubbish on the place looking for something metal to replace the Gerry can they couldn't be arsed to wash out and clean up, one of the women was doing a piece to camera saying all they could find was plastic and no metal in sight yet, over her left shoulder as she said her piece, was a huge orange/rusted oil drum laying on the beach.. I was going look behind you lady, you are lying or blind or both..

Also why is the veggie woman on there if all they can forage or hunt  for is mainly meat/fish/shellfish stuff and they find only the occasional Yukka .. apart from the coconuts. .  but she looks better and fitter than the omnivores who've had a few meat feasts. . got her own vegetarian supplies perchance?

The storytelling/editing is pretty crap too.. noticed last week before the men 'found' their fishing net one of them was doing a piece to camera about something else and the fishing net was hanging up behind him. . funny that as according to the edit it hadn't even been found then. .

Ahh, the magic of television

Moonie

indeed Moonie

I only remember it as I saw the net behind the bloke and thought why hadn't they used it... or why haven't we seen them use it.. then later in the show they 'found' it..

The 'storylines' are so obvious in this one. . someone is bad. . has a tantrum.. makes good with all and happy ending.. interspersed with an increasingly annoying Bear Grylls telling us they will be on their death beds in a few days if they don't drink or eat..  not counting the fact food and drink is probably no more than 200 yds away on a  close by island Well duh! #statingthebleedingobvious

It does seem a bit suss Olly.

- Wild pigs wouldn't be as tame as the piglets were and surely they wouldn't leave their Mum to follow complete strangers round the island?

- A wild animal wouldn't be caught in one of their poxy homemade traps, they're actually quite hard to make.

- Then after it was "caught" in the trap but ran off, another or possibly the same pig was soon spotted... sound asleep in broad daylight. It would be under cover at least, and it would be way more jumpy, and off at the sound of movement.  I reckon they drugged it.

Then a passing fisherman gives over his catch for no pay.

What next... a box of groceries washed ashore?
