I saw it last week, kept changing channels but had to see the end !!!........It is bad.. and I wish there was some way I could UNsee it !!......

The Human centipede was bollocks. Yes the subject matter was grim, but when it came to actually seeing it, it looked completely daft and fake (obviously it is, but there was no shock value to it). Also the acting was horrendous too.

A waste of time if you ask me.

Been passed with an 18 cert and available in your local video shop.  Can't be that bad!  I've not seen it but I don't mind a bit of gory horror from time to time.  The premise sounds biologically implausible to me.  I don't know if its subject matter is that much more objectionable than the routine subject matter of serial killing dramas and horrors like the Saw series.

I agree with you in a way Rawky.. but wouldn't say it was a waste of time...yes its a  bit amateur but it is worth watching for it's sheer shock value and yukkiness.    And it doesn't look too fake to me, (although is obviously is.. I hope!)  And apparently it is possible to do what the guy did to those people..  it was researched first.  I have seen other films that are a much greater waste of an hour and a half.  I watched it and although I felt queasy, it was OK.. maybe a 5.5 out of 10.  BTW, when there are thrillers made, why are the nutjobs always German or English?

Pleased to hear that Clumsycat.  Do you mean that it wasnt as gory? or that it wasnt as shyte (as in badly produced/badly acted etc??)

jjust that it wasnt as shocking as it was made out to be.. more of a black comedy..... unless i am a sick barsteward
