Those who've noticed my witterings may know I'm due for a small op on my shoulder - it got cancelled just before Christmas because my surgeon couldn't get his car out of the drive.

Then they said they'd do it on Jan 18 and would write to me to confirm - except they never did. But now they say they hope to do it before the end of the month, and will ring me as soon as a place becomes vacant, which could be at very short notice. Yippee, at last!

Awww Demantoid, I am sorry you have had to wait so long, but hopefully it will be sorted soon.

Mr Baz, who was due to go in the same day as you before Xmas, and also had his op cancelled, got a call back on Xmas Eve and went in on 30th December.

I suggest you ring them before the end of the month. Hospitals are notorious for forgetting these things.

Thanks Queenie - I'm not really suffering, more bored with the whole thing now! It made me have to change my plans over Christmas for nothing, and now it's still making me have to postpone stuff I wanted to do this month. Could be worse, I'm not in agony.
