I use the same word for allm my passwords but follow it with a different number on each one. Then on a sheet I have each site noted as "priority (number) but not the word.
I occasionally just change the number. Its easier to remember the change.

yeah.... I used to do that...was looking for a paper copy when my lappy died (I had a password protected spreadsheet file with all mine on)... couldn't find it!

But lappy alive again now.... 

...must back up that file!

My usual password isn't quite long enough for some sites..... and I made the mistake once of putting my age on the end of it. A few years later I had to remember the password but couldn't remember how old I was when I joined.

I don't do that anymore.

Awww MrsB.   I felt the same when that surgeon got his arm chopped off by a helicopter in ER.

I didn't blub like a baby... but I did sit there with my mouth literally wide open for about half an hour!

The bloke (Alonso) that the Doctor set Jack up with was one of the 'pilots' from the Dr Who Titanic crimbo special.....the one with Kylie in....he isn't random as such....cos he is an old Dr Who character...just a gift to Jack!

Twasn't that episode that made Mr Ditty cry though....  I swear he actually blubbed a the episode when they brought in the monkey (or chimps or gorillas or something)... the mum and baby one....  and the baby died.    And the mummy monkey was sad....
