Ducky, I've have run all 3 virus programs .. even the one which takes two hours.. But one of them I've run 10 times and it keeps clearing the buggar and then finding it again 30 mins later.  If it all goes tits up I'll just have to spend tomorrow reininstalling the entire hard drive.  (Hubby bought me a 1 terrabite external hard drive in exchange for my old desktop, so everything is safely backed up.)   Three times over!!  LOL

PMSL the desktop Had a Virus on it and he had to rip out the hard drive and replace it to get it to work!!

Actually Ducky it would have been an unfair swap if it had been working as it was a very expensive desktop, even if it was 7 years old.. It was still higher spec than the one he had been using.  So you were quite riight without the extra info!! LOL
