Normally I just love staying home with my family though, so I'll be really sad not to be there with my mum watching the fireworks
It's a difficult decision isn't it? I spent every new year with my son, just him and me,  till he was 15. We made a special thing out of it. He was growing out of it, but was still a bit gutted when I went out for the last two years. This year we're going to recapture the magic of staying in.

This is new for you though Maz. You're got to enjoy it while you can! There's always next year if you decide you prefer watching the fireworks.

yeah Maz... you HAVE to party this year...   cos as a general rule of thumb, once you are over 19, New Years Eve is one of the worst nights out of the year.

you get the odd good un (usually this means you copped off with someone you;ve lusted after all year).. but usually they are over hyped, over booked, and so not worth the 5 hour wait for the taxi home!

Ducky my Christmas Holiday has begun, tomorrow for you...
Yeah it started for my son today too! Not officially, but he only has one lesson tomorrow and his teacher told them not to bother! Wish I could do that.

Actually ... no I don't. I love the last day! We're singing christmas carols tomorrow afternoon!

Prettty good thanks, Darlo. I went out for a friend's birthday on Tuesday night, got talked into staying out for the whole night and didn't sleep at all and went into college. Worst day of college ever How're you?
Awww but I bet it was fun, lol it's hard to concentrate.

I'm good thanks, always distracted with family and babies since i'm an uncle twice this year. I can't wait to New Years to party tbh.

Twas you that just made my router stop routing then.... hormone overload across the interweb!
I should have know it was coming when I started hating my year 9's yesterday.... that only happens once a month.

Actually, I'm going to write down the date...... cos I think I'm being swindled here. It can't be four weeks already.

Not the handbag!!!! I have nightmares about getting pissed and losing it. Many a frantic handbag searching dream I've had.
I woke up one New Years Day....  I was living in a victorian type terrraced house at the time... the ones where the front door opens into the lounge.... so, I woke up lying face down my face on the middle of my sofa - my legs sticking out of the front door.

legs akimbo

One shoe gone...

and TWO handbags wrapped around my neck.

And NO idea wtf was going on!
