I failed to notice we had a meeting till 6 tonight...... so now am having to do everything at home.

I have one more set of books to mark and then I'll be back. (I maybe would have finished by now but I thought I would have a five minute break and catch up on the forum..... big mistake. Everythings mental around here today. )

just to let you know about the films i watched last night (incase..just incase you may be interested)
homecoming was good-ish
whiteout-wasnt watchable-too dark-it went in the bin this morning

tonights viewing will be 'grey gardens' its a film based on a documentry about the aunt and cousin of jackie 'O'
apparently these relatives lived in a filthy mansion, and wernt playing with the full deck and were ignored by jackie

Ros...... when I say "forgot" what I actually mean is we haven't been given a calendar of twilights this year and some idiot forgot to send an email out and assumed me all knew by telepathy.

I'd told my son to meet me at school at 4:30 after college and then of course I had to go to the twilight in the girls school across town. He has an aversion to mobile phones so I had no way to contact him so my mum had to walk across to meet him and take him home. Lord it was a palaver! I'm buying him a mobile tomorrow!

Awwwwwww ducks - It sounds as  though there are few gliches with the merge - I know what that is like and we were just  in one building and then  moved en bloc into another - to have to go between 2 must be a night mare

Evening again all! Done some more room tidying and some psychology work and I'm all set for the evening now.

Reference: Ros ... I had no idea! I thought the atmosphere in the place couldn't get any more miserable than last year......staff and pupils are ready to chuck it all in!

I've been soooo lucky and it hasnt affected my day to day job so far. (forgotten meetings aside )

We still have our off days 6 years on and there is still an undercurrent at times between   the staff who were in the three schools - the bulk  of the staff were from the school were we merged into  - three schools closed and 2 re-opened and called 'superschools'

I honestly can't read that word anymore without it frying my brain! It's like when you say a word over and over and it starts to sound odd (I do it a lot with "chair"...... I mean chair ???).
