My sis is fine. She's just useless at spending time on her own. Her daughter went away on holiday with her Dad yesterday. She'll be fine once she gets back to work on Monday. Big Grin

Laugh I have three sisters and 5 brothers...... but I'm only really close (in distance and connection) with one of my older sisters. I used to be close to my younger one till she went psycho. Actually, she's always been psycho.... I just stopped having the patience to deal with it. Ninja

I wouldn't be without my older one though. She's nuts too, but mostly in a good way. Big Grin

Is she mad!!!! I thought that's what kids did... make you LOVE time on your own!!

I'm with you on that! Nod

She's just one of those people who have to have company 24/7. It's surprising we get on so well because I'm the complete opposite... if I don't get a least an hour or two alone everyday I go nuts! Big Grin

Suggest you make some arrangement with one of the boys friends mums or sommat... and tell her you're busy that day!

Blimey MrsB... you are WAY more tolerant than I am. That would be like a red rag to a bull for me! I am a stubborn cow sometimes... and that kind of thing would really press my buttons!

I'm quite lucky there... I was the only wife, til the recent Polish wedding. And as they are probably staying in Poland, and the polish wife is unlikely to let us see BIL again... I can't see there being a competition.

Besides... the others have already told me I'm the best SIL! Big Grin

I think my tolerance is mainly because I don't like to think of my Dad doing it all for her...as I said yesterday, he hasheart problems (triple bypass) and other issues and I don't want him making himself ill because of her...he's ended up in hospital before after sorting her out before...my boys adore him, as do I and I do it to help him, not her...I just wish she could see what she's doing to him...my mum's no help...she has never even set foot in my sister's old house and doesn't know where the new flat is....it's been over 10yrs since she moved out...yet she will defend my sister when me or Dad moan...if she had actually ever seen the stuff we've seen...but then, my mum is like my sister and expects others to do it for her...peas in a pod they are.

Oh... I understand then.... tis a rock and a hard place.

I am quite childish.. I would be chuntering 'I'm doing it for Dad, not for you.'.

But then you are a more tolerant person than I am...... But I get your frustration! No wonder you erupted yesterday!

See...i married the baby and got the best one! The eldest is a stuffy accountant, the middle is boring and hen-pecked...MrB is scrummy, kind, fun, funny, supportive and has a rather splendid arse...also, he's very family-orientated and will do all he can to help...even if it's not appreciated...

My MrB is pretty fab too.... I need to remember that - we have just had a hissy fit by text session when he was stranded on the M25 with a puncture. I am fed up with his bike - AKA Moneypitt... am was moaning.

I shouldn't moan.... cos he's lovely really Blush

I remeber having a big moan at MrB about his scooter and the fact he rode it more than me! Then he told me he was selling it...I was devestated cos I love it as much as he does! So scoot is still here...he just doesn't spend the whole weekend on it anymore!!! I know he's just exctied cos he's wanted one for 30 odd years...but he's had it over a year now...surely the novelty must be wearing off slightly??!!!!! Boys and their toys!!

Hubby has always had a bike. He kinda defines himself as being a biker.

In the past when we have been really really skint he has offered to sell it, and I always said "no way" as it was the one thing that really meant alot to him.

But... the bike he has at the moment is a bloody nightmare.... it may look the business (is his dream bike)... but, well the name Moneypitt does not cover it!!!

I never thought I'd be wanting him to sell it.... but I just don't think we can afford to keep it running for much longer. He needs to get a less troublesome one!

What's he got??

Lambrettas are also notorious moneypits! Been quite lucky so far....only clutch, exhaust, brakes, lights and miles of cables have been needed!!! I don't want him to sell it ever cos it's really the only special thing he's had and he worked darn hard for it....besides...he bought me a Jag...so I don't really have an arguement!!! Anyway...whilehe has the scoot, I will never be short of ideas for gifts cos I'm slowly pimping it for him! I love buying all the chrome bits and then he'll get all excited about it...go bling it up and then be extra nice to me for ages!!!
