Evening all I'm in a slightly better mood today...slightly!
Yaaaaaay ... you made it!
Friends with Dad, not so friendly with mum and sis seems like the perfect set up to me.
Was it as bad as you feared?

Well...my Dad apologised straight away and it was fine...then I seemed to lose an entire Kate Moss in sweat...bliddy washing macines and cookers weigh loads more when it's hot...now I'm in a grump with my mum and sis...hey-ho!
How's your sis??!!!!

I don't think I could handle having a sister

MrB is out being a scooter-boy tomorrow...so me and kids will be slobbing out...well...until their mates come round...then they will go out and I'll be slobbing on my own...BLISS!!! Then MrB has got the whole of next week off work...so we'll be doing loads of stuff as a family! The boys are away with my parents the last week in August...so we have loads of time to ourselves to look forward to...apart from the day my bliddy sis has TOLD me I HAVE to ferry her about cos her car is being MOT'd...it's not due til Sept, but cos she knows I'm on my own, she wants me to take her shopping...I told her she can come round here, but I'm not taking her out....if she'd ASKED if it was ok, different story, but she booked it all the told me I had to do it...

MrB has two brothers and one sister...I find the BILs wives the worst of the lot...they seem tothink it's some kind of competition as to which of us nabbed the best brother!!!
Anyone can see I did

Suggest you make some arrangement with one of the boys friends mums or sommat... and tell her you're busy that day!
Blimey MrsB... you are WAY more tolerant than I am. That would be like a red rag to a bull for me! I am a stubborn cow sometimes... and that kind of thing would really press my buttons!

Anyway.. I'm married to the eldest brother... who seems to have some kind of over ruling authority over the rest (well earned actually... he virtually raised his brothers, when he was little more than a kid himself)...
... so that makes me top bitch!
quote:Originally posted by MrsB:
I think my tolerance is mainly because I don't like to think of my Dad doing it all for her...as I said yesterday, he hasheart problems (triple bypass) and other issues and I don't want him making himself ill because of her...he's ended up in hospital before after sorting her out before...my boys adore him, as do I and I do it to help him, not her...I just wish she could see what she's doing to him...my mum's no help...she has never even set foot in my sister's old house and doesn't know where the new flat is....it's been over 10yrs since she moved out...yet she will defend my sister when me or Dad moan...if she had actually ever seen the stuff we've seen...but then, my mum is like my sister and expects others to do it for her...peas in a pod they are.

I will add that to my list of requirements if I ever decide to trade in my remote control.....always marry the eldest bro.

My MrB is pretty fab too.... I need to remember that - we have just had a hissy fit by text session when he was stranded on the M25 with a puncture. I am fed up with his bike - AKA Moneypitt... am was moaning.
I shouldn't moan.... cos he's lovely really

See...i married the baby and got the best one! The eldest is a stuffy accountant, the middle is boring and hen-pecked...MrB is scrummy, kind, fun, funny, supportive and has a rather splendid arse...also, he's very family-orientated and will do all he can to help...even if it's not appreciated...
*grits teeth and vows not to moan about sister again tonight*

Oh... and, part of my narkiness about it all is cos... I have to wonder if the offers to sell it in the past, have been sincere... given the level of resistance I am now getting to him parting with it!
