I walked over the Humber Bridge today (and back again of course).

I know exactly what you mean. Scatts is right it does happen every year but I think the closeness of the community does maker it harder.
In fact I have found myself refraining from posting negative things about some HM's this year because I know people who like them. Or at the very least I'm very careful how I phrase it.
Even when it doesn't get "personal" on here, the tone of the posts can still get right up your nose. The way some people are so dismissive of things you say. Someone laughed at something I posted the other day and I just thought sod ya. If you can't be respectful I don't want a conversation with you. Things like that hardly register when it's someone you don't know but when it's someone you've posted with before it's just irritating.

Theres only so much defending your chosen housemate you can do, there will always be negativity it gets tiring after but the debates are great as long as it's in a respectful tone and not personal

Exactly Ducky... cos of the closeness of the community I do refrain from posting my true opinion of Halfwit! But that has not stopped the rude comments.
That bloody transcript thread for example... it was bloody biased....!!! I had to actually turn my laptop off for a couple of hours to stop myself completely losing my temper at one particular girls snippy comments!
And then when I saw last night... what that so called transcript was of.... proved me right!

I was the OP of that thread Ditty, the writer had obviously stuck their own opinions in biased towards Freddie of course but I should have deleted their thoughts but it covered what was said in the argument .
