They are called Reductil..prescribed by docs. They seem to work really well...been on them for 3 weeks and have had to tighten my belt by three notches and according to my scales I've lost about 12lbs...hope the docs scales say the same thing!!! They surpress your appetite...but, boooger, they make you thirsty!!! Also can cause insommnia....not so bad during school hols...awful when I was having to get up to take eldest to Summer School!!

As for lowering the tone...Maz started it by seeking advice...it's all her fault..if she hadn't said certain things, we would never have divulged stuff and the converstion would be of the usual high standard....anyway, surely it's the Captains duty to set standards..and she appears to have disappeared...

They are much, much better than the Xenical ones....they stop you absorbing fat...only thing is...the fat comes out yer bum with no warning at all and resembles sweet and sour sauce...you can't even fart without sitting on the loo...and the stuff leaks out of you ALL the time...that Alli pill that you can buy now is a mild form of Xenical...ugh. I was on Xenical for a couple of weeks years ago...took me over a year to feel normal again. These Reductil are much better...even if they are a dose of something very quick...

Still...I'll be slimmer soon...I can only take them for up to a year and also have to do a food diary etc just to prove that I am also making the effort to sort out my diet!

12lbs is cool!! I need to lose some weight... I just need to get started. Sitting on the laptop all day doesn't help. Neither does being all loved up! (have always said, I can never be too miserable, cos when I am upset I get thin! silver lining and all that!).

I've decided I need to exercise more, so I've taken up walking..today I made it to the car and then from car to newsagents,newsagents to car and car back to house...not bad.
