Yes. Only for about 10 minutes when we stopped half way up to listen to the guide telling us it was perfectly safe even though the whole thing was shuddering and making bendy metal type noises.

Once you get to the top you stand at the windows and the blades WHOOSH past your head so fast it makes you dizzy.

But guess who forgot to pack the camera and the video camera.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

I may practice climbing the rigging a few times before I do though. The last 20 steps nearly finished me off.

The view was amazing! The storm blew over pretty quick once we were at the top and then the sun came out. Twas perfect timing.

It's been fun - we had a SGM with over 200 attending, independent vote counters etc and you could have cut the atmosphere with a knife!

I was bright red for years and as long as you use one of them sunblock conditioner thingies it should stay good - mine did

Also for some reason the fellas lurved that red colour....
