I feel like those people on "How clean is your house" .... once you get past a certain point you just can't face it.

The trip was good thanks... a little wet towards the end. When we drove back over the Humber Bridge the rain was so heavy my windscreen wipers couldn't cope

After a few hours slipping and sliding all over the ship (with breaks for food/bath/phone calls) and the complete inability to communicate (storm messed up t'internet)...I have decided to call it a night....and hope to get this message posted before net vanishes again!!!!

Will definately be back tomorrow (stormy stuff permitting)....I've missed y'all!!

Right this'll take a while 'cause there are some complications.

Basically, through me he met this other girl, who messed up this entire thing I had going on with this guy around Christmas time. We'd been sort of together for like a year and she got involved and wrecked it all (she's one of my best friends btw...no grudges) and they got talking. She's been telling us for ages that he likes her and that he invited her around her house etc. She spoke to me about it 'cause she knew I liked him and said that she didn't want to mess it up for me so she'd like...calm down speaking to him etc.

Today he walked 5 miles in the pouring rain to our picnic spot (which became my absolute best friend's bedroom) and it was a wee bit awkward at first but then we all got talking and we were getting on so well it was amazing and he was saying how easy I am to speak to and stuff and he brought up my friend and started saying how totally forward and suggesstive and ott she's being with him when he barely speaks to her. And she's been saying tons of stuff about how much she likes him (even though she's sort of with this guy that she's liked for literally years-she said she'd get rid of him if 'those two' could happen) and he was like "oh it's all so weird and I don't like it" and BASICALLY she's been making up loads of stuff about how they get on and he doesn't like it and doesn't really even like her and we're meeting up on Monday to go for lunch. If I remember anything else I'll say

Ok... I read that a few times to make sure I got it straight. I think I have now.

Just to be absolutely clear... the guy your friend messed things up with for you before is not THIS same guy is it?

I think you told us about that at the time? It certainly rings a bell anyway.

Sooooooooo...... the most important bit is you're going for lunch! On Monday. Which is waaay before you lose internet connection so we can have all the goss? Did I get that bit right?
