I was pretty impressed with Poland actually.... tis a bizarre mix of beautiful and.... fairytale like... mixed in with communist deprivation!

I learned that if you mention the Russians you have to follow it up with spitting in disgust!

THe food... was better than expected!

But you are right about the people.... we had to queue for the wedding, two weddings in front of ours... and when each wedding party came out... NO ONE, absolutely NO ONE smiled!!!!

Our actual wedding had been scaled down. THere were 22 of us.... only 5 bi lingual! So was a little awkward!

for every 4 people... there was a bottle of polish vodka and 4 shot glasses. I got to the point of.... what the hell... its vodka time (BAD BAD BAD idea!)

I don't remember much else about it all!

But... I am covered in cuts and bruises! I have a bump on my head too!

From what I will let him tell me, I gather that Hubby got me back to the hotel before I got to the vomiting stage.... but once in our hotel he had a difficult 4 hours trying to keep my head out of my own sick... and work out if I was crying or laughing!

Poor poor hubby!

It's weird isn't it! That so many people could be so like...emotionless

It sounds quite fun though. Did you stay in a nice hotel?

I never sampled the vodka when I was over there but I've heard it's lethal!

I hate getting drunk in front of family, have you spoken to any of them since you've been back?

I've suffered from last night by losing my phone after breaking it by pouring wine all over it

Hotel was fab.... was a Novotel... the bed was to the comfiest eva!!!

SPoken to the family.... well yes! Had to fly back with most of them!

Luckily my two fave brothers in law also had memory loss.... so I assume were as pissed as I was...

My hubbies cousin was with us... and apparently I threw a glass of water over her... but she didn't mention it the next day.. and was very nice to me... so hey ho!

Is still cringe city though!

2. I was obsessed with my lucky pink socks (that I don't wear an awful lot) but I thought that that would sound crass as a username, so I shortened it to Sock
