Big Brother stepped in to put a halt to a huge row in the Big Brother 2014 house today.

The argument occurred in the early hours following the nominations reveal, which saw a twist.

Yesterday (Saturday) afternoon, the housemates nominated as usual and Ash Harrison, Danielle McMahon, Chris R Wright, Marlon McKenzie, Steven Goode, Kimberly Kisselovich and Winston Showan were all up for eviction.

HOWEVER, unbeknownst to the group, power couple Toya A Washington and Matthew Davies had chosen to veto the nominations of Ash, Steven and Marlon. Once their nominations were discarded, Kimberly escaped eviction.

Therefore, as it stands, Danielle, Ash, Chris, Marlon, Steven and  Winston all face the public vote, alongside both Jale and Christopher.

Toya and Matthew’s perhaps strange choices of whose nominations to veto had previously caused Toya and Ash go head to head in one explosive row and the arguments continued into the early hours.

After going at it with Ash, Toya ended up clashing with Marlon in the garden.

It all started as Toya told Matthew to “shut the f**k up” from the garden Power pod, while Marlon told her: “All you do is chat s**t, you’re fake. You’ve shown your true f**king colours you p***k.”

As Marlon went to get into the Pod to confront Toya, Big Brother called him to the Diary Room as Toya snapped: “Marlon, stop embarrassing yourself.”

She then told the other housemates: “What people are failing to understand is that we didn’t even get to nominate, so the people in front of you nominated.”

With Marlon away in the Diary Room, Toya then moved on attack Winston from the security of the Pod.

“You’ve shown your true colours,” she told the Essex lad. “You have no respect for yourself and no respect for me. Who do you think you are?”

He replied: “You’re such a drama queen sitting up there shouting at everyone, who do you think you are?”

After things had calmed down, Matthew – who had escaped almost all of the flack – confided in Toya: “I can’t comprehend how Marlon just spoke to you, it’s disgraceful you.”

Wowww who would have thought it? Winston has something to say.... and it only took him being nominated to find the words  They are moaning about Toya and Matthew choosing her 3 'mates' to cancel out their nominations.... yet that only removed Kimberley from the original set up, so the votes didn't affect the majority of them.... are they really THAT dense?  What a shallow, vindictive, vile group that close knit lot are. Christopher, Chris, Jale and Danielle don't seem to matter at all to any of them

I think that's a typo by Telemix there: they mean "Toya told Marlon..."

I wonder if he'll have as many warnings as Helen. In the past wasn't it 3 warnings and you're out?

Early-on, yes. However there was little need for it in BB4, and they dropped it altogether in BB5 (which was probably just as well, otherwise they'd have had no HMs left after "Fight Night" and the camera-burning  ).

Already said that Marlon's the biggest potty-mouth in there,  but there can be some real nastiness and misogyny behind his comments too...

I was disgusted by Marlon's and Ash's remarks about Kim and women the other day

Camera burning? Remind me please. Was it to do with the hat burning?

but let's not forget she IS a bitch...

It was the venom with which he said it.

If he'd said,

"Well I don't like you - you're rather bitchy"

it would have been different

I just wish BB would be fair minded when handing out the warnings.... Helen seems to get away with far too much (and we don't get to see what her actual warnings are for), Toya seems over the top in arguments, Pauline was vile full stop. Yet we only get to see Marlon being pulled up? I don't condone his behavior mind, his remarks about women are deplorable, his mother must be so proud.

Here’s a recap of last night’s BBUK rows for those that weren’t up until 3AM watching it unfold!

It all started as Big Brother gathered the Housemates to reveal the results of this week’s nominations which already included Jale (who faces eviction every week) and Christopher (who the power couple nominated on Friday).

Joining them were Marlon, Chris, Ash, Steven, Danielle, Kimberly and Winston. But then Big Brother revealed that the Power Couple had the power to veto three of the Housemates nominations and chose Marlon, Ash and Steven, and as a result Kimberly was saved from the public vote.

Ash didn’t quite understand the mechanics of the power veto and asked Toya to explain, trying to be heard above other questions from the Housemates.

Toya told him: “Can you all just calm the f**k down.”

However, Ash didn’t take too kindly to Toya’s tone and neither did Winston and Marlon. The house erupted into a full scale argument which ended with Helen having to take Toya to the bathroom to calm the situation down.

Later, Toya and Matthew admit that they feel like the Housemates don’t understand how uncomfortable being the Power Couple has made them.

The argument between Toya and the boys continued with Winston calling Toya, “a drama queen” and she hit back with: “Stop acting like a barbaric animal, p**sing all over the toilet seat”.

The row went on later with Toya calling Marlon a sheep for siding with Winston and Ash, she then told him, “to be a leader and stop being a mouse.”

Intervening, Jale asked Toya if she really wants to start World War 3 in the house to which the answer seemed to be yes as Toya reminded the house that she and Matthew are still the Power Couple and warned: “I will f**k them up with the power!”

Can't remember if it was a response to the hat-burning, but towards the end of the series, Michelle Bass got angry with BB and led a group of HMs who dismantled a camera (from the DR, I think), carried it into the garden and set fire to it. Michelle got a "first and final" warning for that (she was one of the few HMs not warned over Fight Night because she'd been with Stewart most of the time). Even nice-guy Dan got a warning for the camera burning. I think it's a good illustration of just how much happened in BB5 that such an outrageous example of criminal damage (and still possibly the greatest display of disent by HMs against BB) is largely forgotten now...

I didn't see the announcement. Do they know who would have been up and that the cancellation of those nominations only let Kimberly off the hook?
