In Dom Rep, when we went of a tour of the villages, they asked tourists to give the kids pencils instead of sweets because their teeth were getting bad. I reckon it was more to do with the fact they were selling us pencils to give to the kids. Being a cynic, MrY reckoned the pencils were returned and resold on a daily basis.

I used to love really strong Greek type  coffee ...but had to give it up cos it started to give me palpitations
