I have a brown throw that I have hung over the already closed curtains. 

Maybe buy one of those black sleep masks

Awww You Have my sympathy EC ....I have blackout blinds and curtains and the sun still wakes me up at the crack of dawn .....roll on winter

I’ve got them , but the light still gets out at the top and bottom

I’ve got them , but the light still gets out at the top and bottom 

My shutters block the lot👍👍
