My son uses the tunnel cos my DIL won’t fly or go by boat 

 don't blame her -  been on the ferry a few times but will go on the tunnel one day

Takes about 3 hours 45 minutes for me to get to London on Virgin cattle wagons

Most everything abroad is better than ours. It's the mismanagement and money pocketing that's our problem

I agree....it cost much less than that to go direct from London to Amsterdam

Yes , when my friend and I were doing our London days out we never paid more than £30-40 return from here to Euston ....but we did book up well in advance
