Prefabs made people happy after the war...............

I lived in a prefab for the first 5 years of my life

Most had gone by the time we came back

no prefabs where I lived - so must have gone - but can see why people liked them - -something of their own after the war

Yes

That sort of 'Luxury' has never appealed to me............

Tea at the Savoy or the Ritz is a great experience

Not one I have ever desired, Tea on a lawn in the sunshine is more my cup of tea....

It's lush and what you can't stuff in they box up for you.....for tea on the lawn👍

My neighbour has a shelter in the garden....every one who has lived there has tried to get rid of it....no luck....it would need blowing up and they can't do that😂

Tell them to grow mushrooms in it ....then it will simply collapse under the weight of compost ...like ours did

Hedgehogs used to live in it.....nothing will shift it....they have a grassed over bump in their lawn 😂
