We were on a flight to Dominican and my youngest, then 15 or 16 was sitting next to a woman who was terrified. When we hit a little bit of turbulence, she held onto my son’s hand, as well as her hubby’s

Awww For all my irrational anxieties flying never bothered me ...I always felt quite fatalistic , and that once I was in the air it was all out of my  hands ....and at least it would be quick

Was on holiday...we flew home 2 days after, didn't help that we had a minutes silence on the runway and the papers were naturally full of it

I can't imagine getting on a plane in the USA a couple of days after 9/11 

We weren't in the US thank gawd, but travel was chaotic
