Well it was only 80 years ago 

 feels much longer I suppose

My parents were born in ‘39

Mine were born nearly 30 years before that 

 

My nana was born in 1914. She used to say, she started WW1 and my dad started WW2

mine were  10 years older than that and had my sister and I quite late by standards at that time

 Yes, my mum had one but it was more modern - it was red.

We picked rosehips for our primary school. I have no idea what they did with them. 

We used to get rosehip syrup as kids.
