I remember going to the Canaries when La Palma volcano was erupting....the pilot flew around it a few times so we could have a good look....health and safety eh?

I think most of it was buried in ash, so excavation a bit easier than through solid rock

Yes a bit better. I had meals on wheels (next door) bring me a home made curry tonight. She said it might do you some good and it's hot.....as in a lot of chilies
