By the way ....Victoria is at 8 tomorrow ...followed by Elizabeth at 9 

The first time we went to Tenerife,the volcano on La Palma was erupting....so the pilot did a fly round so we could have a look....no health and safety in 1973......then when we landed at the old airport ,he kindly pointed out the wreckage of the two planes that had crashed the day before 😂

Yes...especially as they probably didn’t even know what was going on ...and thought it was the gods 

Tenerife and flying are a bit dodgy for us.....we used to go every autumn , but we were there when 9/11 happened...we did get out on the right day, but they kindly gave us free newspapers with all the pictures ...and then held a two minute silence for the victims as we waited to take off

since then we have had two emergency landings with fire engines and all the bells and whistles

we've never flown there since 😂😂
