I felt sorry for these countries, loads collaborated with the Germans..but can you blame them really, they were terrified for their families

Very little option tbh,they didnât have the strength military or fiscal to do anything on their own against such a superior force

we were so lucky that Hitler changed course away from the uk - we were on our knees I think
