She was killed in the guest room, no one would probably have cause to go in it. He may have thought his wife was out of the house, or busy cleaning....it's hard so many years later to even try and work it out.

was supposed to have it in uni but it didn't arrive so never tried it

I'm not 100% convinced at least not in her own - I think someone else was involved somewhere - although money is a strong motive
