No , I don’t really remember my dad spanking us either ....but my mum made up for it ....I remember getting a hairbrush across the back of my legs laugh

loads of us on our estate and Fridays we were allowed out until ten, we all played under a lamp where our parents could see us without any worry...didn't even lock the doors in those days

yes same here -it was rarely referred to dad and even then he never hit me mum didn't either -i was just shouted at or on the odd occasion sent up to my room
