I would watch it, but, unfortunately, I don't like either presenter, although I do like Mel Giedroyc.

disgraceful way he treated her but she can hold her head up high as she's kept a dignified silence   doubt his 'fling' was worth it in the end

Mel & Sue are great Shame about Paul, he was rather attractive before the fling. I did wonder if his marriage was over before that, but who really knows, it's not my business. I'll still enjoy the show

Well- I thoroughly enjoyed that! There appears to be some impressive bakers there this year! Mr he squirrel cake was brilliant

Yes EC they kick someone off each week until they're left with a few finalists for the last show. I missed the first 2 years and started watching it last year

Just watched it and enjoyed it  there's always one that seems to play the little girl lost and this year it's going to be Ruby, very good ideas but probably to much for the first week, I love how they all end up on the floor looking in the oven 

Ruby annoyed me! I tried to be a bit sympathetic towards her because it must be nerve wracking being on TV, but she came back the next day just the same! Where's her "put it behind you and move on" fighting spirit! She's lucky that lad made a big mess up of things really because I think she would have gone if it weren't for that

I agree Sweet ...I was sure she was out ...and I think she should have been TBH ....it will be interesting to see how she shapes up next week

Ruby reminds me of the woman last year with a brown bob, always doing the little girl voice and simpering to Paul, the older fella was very good

I've just caught up on the iplayer! What a great week I wanted Kimberely to be star baker but I do think Ruby deserved it, and what a huge turn around from last week!

Just watched it now myself - I thought it was going to be Kimberley, but it was very close between her and Ruby.

Question Re breadsticks - surely if you cut the dough to 10 inches the baked product WON'T be 10 inches?

Don't know, BBC2 Scotland is showing River City - a Scottish Soap.

If it's called 'Bread' or 'Cake', then it's a repeat.

They are baking bread in this episode. It's 2/16.
