Tonight I miss the entire old forum
On the very odd occasion that I can't sleep (like now) I always used to go the the BB forum and there was always people posting.

Oh I haven't adjusted my time setting, so didn't realise that Brisket has just posted - yay, there is life!!!

Tonight I wish I could turn back the clock to 3 years ago too in the days of the old C4 forum.

Don't rely on me Tartan    I don't feel very lively.

I often wonder what happened to some of the old names.
Maybe some are here with new names (and we do know that some are because they have told us.)
But I wonder where others are. Found the new forum difficult.
Or maybe even private circumstances have changed.
But I still feel that the vast majority here are friendly, well-intentioned, warm, caring people.
I like it.

I'm so glad we have this forum.  ch4 was the first place that got me "into" the internet, and I always thought of it as home.  Onetoo is the only person that regularly posts on here that I knew from community, but there are lots of new (to me) people on here that make it still feel homely.

Tatanveggie I knew from community I always posted in there was gutted when they closed it down.

The friendly and homely feeling is so important to most of us.
I hope we can keep it.

My main forum was BB but posted every day in all the sub forums miss so many FMS who never joined us, but I like it here lots of us did make the move together which was brill

I had a great post typed about getting on with what we have and to please stop begging people to come back here but I got the System Error when I went to post it.

We have built up a great spot here and by saying it's no good without those that are missing is an insult to us. Yes, there are people I would love to see here but that's their decision.  
We have some wonderfully funny/scarstic/warm/helpful/bitchy/IT literate/illetarate people here.
I was so afraid to post with some people on C4 so it wasn't all roses and light.

I agree Tayto it wasn't all cosy.

I think our moderators here deserve much credit for the way they handle things.

But the lovely thing about your post for me, is that you appreciate the people who are here. Nice comments.

The moderators are lovely here I could not believe when we first moved here how they came into the threads and laughed and joked with us,they are brilliant

Thanks Brisket.  That's what I was trying to say - just wish my first post had gone through.  
We have to move on and embrace what we have here which is so much more than we ever had on C4.
