She was a sheep following Siavash. Once she knew they just picked his nominations for him it was quite an easy choice for her not to nominate (if she found it difficult).

It shows how stupid the twist was from Endemol. They should at least have waited to tell Siavash what would happen after nominations were over. Instead by telling him straight away it influenced what Sophie did.

They should have been up for eviction together.

I'm sorry - but the last couple of HL shows have had me laughing so much i'm finding it difficult to take this rule breaking too seriously.

As far as I'm concerned she's redeemed herself, I was peed off with her last week, but she along with Siavash, Marcus, and Rodrigo provided the best laugh I've had this series. Big Grin

Plus, with hindsight - Marcus did wish that he had not nominated either! Wink

Yep.

By refusing to nominate this week, Sophie has detatched herself from the block vote mentality which is dominated (and spoilt) this series of Big Brother.

While a few moaning viewers will dislike her for taking this decisive action, I think she's probably gained a lot of respect from a lot more people. Me included.

She was just sheep-like in following Siavash. Once they had an idea that his nominations would be chosen for him she just decided to do the same. If you don't get punished I suppose it's easy to break the nominations rule. Just shows what a stupid twist it was.

He'd mentioned to Siavash that he would also not be nominating this week (shortly before he nominatedLaugh).

Marcus is all talk sometimes.

Do you not think Endemol/c4 would find your conclusion more stupid than their twist - in financial terms, come finale week? Wink

Was Marcus also sheep-like, when he said he'd wished he'd also not nominated, had he known what the punishment would be? Smiler

Marcus was annoyed at how slight the punishment always is for people like Siavash, Sophie, Rodrigo and Charlie. I think all the HMs know now that these people will never receive warnings and will always be treated leniently.

Having received two warnings for aggressive, threatening behaviour, numerous warnings for climbing on the roof, smashing up BB property, punching Kris and Charlie in the stomach, threatening to punch Tom in the face, and so on.....

The fact Marcus hasn't been kicked out the door shows that the lenience has been more than fairly distributed.Laugh

Huge lol

That fact that you even include 'punching' Kris and Charlie in the stomach, which was a joke and done at about 25% strength and was consensual...shows that you are just joking here.

Marcus has not poked people in the face, or thrown something at someone's face. Other HMs have damaged BBs property (more than just some flimsy board). The roof was made to climb on and they made it easy for people to get onto it. Other people have been on it. He was never threatening to Tom's face.

It's cool that you have excuses for the things he does, but all the same, BB has shown lenience to Marcus, as well as the other people you've mentioned.

Sophie 6 rule breaks re noms
Siavash 4!

Sophie was up for eviction 4 times in 10 weeks - but only had 1 nomination in all that time. Punished plenty imo...

Yes but I keep hearing how rule breakers should either be kicked out or automaticly up for eviction, why is this different.?

One rule for your favourite HM, another rule fior someone elses, thats whats going on here.

Consistent nomination rule breaks and physical violence are the most serious rule breaks and neither have been fully punished on this series. Verbal assaults and 'ganging up' on HMs are more of a judgement call and really need BB coming in at points to lay out the ground rules between those involved.

People such as Siavash, Sophie, Charlie and Rodrigo have never even been given a formal warning, which is joke.

Id never put threats of physical violence and nomination rule breaks in the same catergory of rule breaking.
