I like Gordon Brown...... there! I've said it! I think he's been given a very raw deal in the press.



GB is/was a good and honest man .......................he comes across as dour and brusque but there is no doubt in my mind that he always had in mind what is best for this country (unlike Blair) .........call me naive but I dont see him as self serving and I'm fairly sure thathe would have stood down in the near future anyway after assessing the public vote against him. He's simply moved a bit qicker that's all ..............i dont think he was pushed - he's simply looking for what's best for the country IMO.

Whatever the outcome of all these shenanigans I really hope that it has engaged people to think about the way in which this country is run. We have an election every four years or so and people have become apathetic .................if nothing else - this has got people thinking - listening to debate (I think) .........that can only be a good thing IMO. Prior to this people simply didn't bother and (possibly) thought what difference can I make.
Although I desperately wanted a Labour majority I'm finding the whole process fascinating. Anyone else?
