Another change to the way I see her....
I am now up to Hula'ing bear, on a mobility scooter, gangsta styley (her words)... hanging around the staff entrance to the House of Commons trying to blag her way in past security

From the BBC......Lance Price, a former special adviser to Tony Blair, tells the BBC: The fact there have not been any leaks from the Liberal Democrats and Conservatives suggests that these talks are going well. If they were not you would see one side or the other putting pressure on through the media.
Are all our nails bitten to the quick or are we all getting a tad bored now?

SNP negotiating team heading to London. Hope they have got some theatre tickets and dinner plans: Tories are not that desperate
The SNP would never negotiate with the Tories..never ever!Fraser Nelson is a tweet twit.

Haven't seen much today.....so there's no more real news apart from 'No news is Good News' for the Tories?Reference:
That's what we thought about the Lib Dems
though I would expect them to listen before judging Ducks... they have always said that tribalism for its own sake does not best serve the public .....but yeah... I'm a bit scared too...
If the SNP are heading south it is to talk to the Labour Party about what they would demand to support a Lab/LibDem minority government
Edit : Tories don't need SNP support but Labour would

I'm trying very hard not to judge them too harshly before I know all the facts. I do believe they are doing absolutely the right thing in talking to the Tories first..... but if they make a deal that does not include a referendum on PR then they will lose my respect forever. So I'm scared too.
Havig said that... if they don't make a deal with the Tories, then I think the Tories should go ahead with a minority government. A government that doesn't include the party who won the most votes just wouldn't seem right to me (no matter how much I'd prefer it )

Oh please, no... don't we have enough problems already....Reference:

I think they are between a rock and a hard place., cos I think if they jump into bed with Labour simply for PR then I will lose all respect for them.....Reference:

yeah... PR is the deal breaker for me tooReference: Baz

that clinches it... Baz.. you need to get down to whitehall... they need you on the door down there!Reference:

I actually quite like Alec Salmon..... think he is fairly sincere....... but I certainly don't want him sticking he beak into this.....
what happens if they don't go with either party? Can they do that?
Reference:

Yep... they can sort of give their support on a case by case basis... but it wouldn't make for a stable government...
They can run a minority government with case by case support form the Lib Dems.. the pressure would then be on the Lib Dem not to bugger it up
Z.
Z.
Yeah they can...... then the Conservatives will have to try and muddle along as a minority and another election will be on the cards pretty soon.
its lose:lose:lose then

oh goody... I can cast my useless vote all over again... only this time I am that much more aware of how useless it is!Reference:

Hardly seems fair does it? God I'd hate to them right now!Reference:

In an interview this morning Clegg mentioned a few things he wanted to discuss with Cameron, he never mentioned PR. I thought that was his biggest agenda that he wanted to change politically, so was he really sincere about that or not I wonder. I suppose anyone in any situation will sell out if they want power enough.
Well I don't thing we should moan... after all.... according to the pundits and the media.... we all wanted a hung parliament.....
I certainly won't be voting for the lib dems again if they agree to a deal with the conservatives.
First time I ever voted and I pissed it up by voting for those tosspots. I should of left out the tactical vote and just gone with labour.

The wording has subtly moved from Electoral Reform to Political Reform which is slightly different.
Oh and I read up on Alternative Vote Plus ...which is one of the leading choices for PR... you vote for an MP as per usual .. but only about 500 of them.. and then by some complex second choice and proportion of votes you may, or may not get more MPs for your County

well much as I am all for full on Political Reform... when I have used the term PR I mean proportional representation....& Z - My head hurt when I was reading through the four voting systems...
I just want to be able to cast my vote for which party I would like to see govern the country....
then I would like to cast a different vote for who I want to do the local stuff!
2 votes... for 2 separate counts...
not my vote being for who gets through to heat 1. & if my vote wasn't for the winner of heat 1 well.. unlucky... off you toddle.
