but I don't because I think it will do the Lib Dems harm in the long run.
I dunno...    I keep trying to imagine lib lab...  and I just can't see it...  Cleggy & Co will get a pat on the back... and then given a broom cupboard somewhere & ignored.

I think I am interested to see what a tory government with a strong Lib Dem influence would look like.

Nick Clegg needs to keep it open & transparent.. thats his best bet in terms of not losing support

I think it will boil down to what the Conservatives offer him....... he's going to have to strike a very good deal if he's to convince most people that he hasn't sold out.

If it was me, and I'd voted in a Lib Dem MP and they made a deal to vote in Conservative policies I'd want a damn strong sweetner!

I can't wait to see what happens

support Labour and be seen to prop up a party which has the lowest seats and number of votes
But it's the Lib Dems who have the lowest no.of seats and votes, (many of which I suspect were tactical,) and they lost seats overall too. Clegg doesn't have to agree to anything with anyone. I don't envy his position, but the party with the lowest no. of seats and votes are actually in a position of some power

Whispers.... I think John Major was ok as well... just think he suffered becoming PM after Maggie, in so far as you can say a politician is sincere, he always struck me as being quite sincere.  Also a lot of the sleaze that there was at the time caused him a lot of problems. Ooh that Goldsmith boy is niiiiicccceeeee....... for a Tory!!
*whispers.... I agree on all points*

And what do you think GB will do Mr M&P?......Just because he hasn't fronted up about....... but we have a massive deficit.... something has to give....
Labour has always been in favour and funded childrens centres,  with conservatives in power, if DC cuts the spending theres a big chance thousands of people will lose their job... and having brothers who have gone through the training for it for years and finally started working, I would be even more annoyed had it been me in their shoes to go through many courses to then find after a month or so of working they get the boot.

I agree... but my point is that I believe those cuts are coming anyway.... even under Labour......  how can they be avoided in the present climate.......  we are in a total mess , and whether you think it is global or GB , it HAS to be sorted out...
