He's not actually my mp...    we are part of some ward made up of all the villages... and it was a done deal that the tory bernard would retain his seat.

But the main colchester bloke... bob russell stayed...  which he totally deserved to.  Most hardworking mp I have ever seen.   And he is like a dog with a bone... I reckon all the others hate him!

Locally, Gloucester where I live but not where I vote has switched from Labour to Conservative. Two elections ago, Gloucester was the magic ward where which ever party won was expected to obtain an overall majority. Not so this time. Tewkesbury where I vote stayed inevitably Conservative.
Strangely enough, Cheltenham has yet to declare. In the past this has been one of the first places to declare. I think this means that there is a very close result between Lib Dems (current MP) and Conservative.

Me please. I don't want to bring this thread down, but my Buddy had to be put down 2 weeks ago and he used to snore like a trooper. I decided one night to turn it into a positive noice and fall asleep to it. It worked and now and don't have him anymore.
I was just reading back and saw this....

Cologne   you've had a crappy time recently haven't you.  So sorry about Buddy xxxx

"A lot of average income families are on 50K they have mortgages etc to pay."

Our family earns nowhere near 50k! And when Mr LB got made redundant last year we got ZIP!! Well ÂĢ60 a week - but where does that go? I have a mortgage but it's a sensible amount (bought 23 years ago) We had to use all Mr Lb's inheritence to live on
