Well when the country crashes around our ears, and folks say, where were you on election night, we will all be able to say.... we were going on GaGa

I was on holiday in Ireland Lowi... having postal voted of course. Even over there they joined in the party!

I was exactly the same Ducky.  I had been out on Election night that year and was supposed to be in work early the following morning, my bosses had an important meeting, I stayed up nearly all night that night and somehow got to work the following morning and my bosses had got that drunk the night before, they had cancelled the meeting and decided to close the garage for the day ~ I went home and collapsed into bed!  But I will not forget the feeling of hope that I and I think a lot of people in the country felt that day... we really felt there was going to be a change, today I admit I am enjoying the twists and turns of this election.

 We are NOT going to lose winter fuel payments... and child tax  credits are only being cut for those on over 50k...... who don't need them anyway

In order for a two parent family to earn 50k they have high child care costs to pay, this is where child tax credits can help.

Ducky it's not that easy to uproot families from their homes and buy somewhere cheaper

But cuts do need to be made somewhere Low... and I would rather it was targeted at those earning over 50K than those under 50K....

Bloody hell! Now we've had the presidential-style helicopter shots of Cameron returning to tory HQ! 

I thought he would probably get back in and I have to say that he is not bad as MP's go, I had a lovely personal reply off him when I emailed him about Low's petiton earlier on in the year and even after that he sent me another letter with a copy of a letter he had sent to West Midlands Travel on my behalf.  So I'm glad really, just wish the council would get a bit of a shake up.
