It seems unlikely the Tories will have enough support by just relying on the backing of nine or so democratic unionists in Northern Ireland. But equally, it isn't at all clear that Labour and the Lib Dems would have enough seats combined to be able to outvote everyone else either.

Aww chin up Xochi It will be Labour again in our life-time.... that's the way it goes. I was telling Duds earlier about how I felt when labour got in in 1997.... that overwhelming feeling of hope. Whatever happens tomorrow.... I won't be facing the depths of despair, just a nagging feeling of irritation So it could be worse.
