Ya see... I don't understand why this queuing thing is such a problem. The law states that the polling station shuts at 10.00pm. If you can't be inside by that time it's tough!

they need to let these people have their votes!I don't get it... they should have the capacity for every person entitled to vote... its not for them to only provide capacity for a 33% turn out..... thats outrageous.
And.... what happens to these returning officers doesn't solve the problem. Punishing the officers is not the main issue.... getting it sorted so these people can vote is.
Thousands of postal votes have gone missing in York. If they've gone missing how does anyone know about them?

Cos people were rocking up after work... at 6pm... and there were queues of 150 people... they'd go home, come back an hour later.. and join the queue.. and still not get in!
Interesting that it is not enough to be inside the voting station you have to have the voting paper in your hand by 10pm
