I've bet my forum horse Cloudy Lane and Comply or Die which is very apt for my job.  I got a new pair of shoes out of it last year, hoping for a handbag this time.

So much for that theory  It was 8/1. It's now 9/2

I looked last night GJ, I don't bet big amounts so it hardly seemed worth it

BTW, I joined some online betting sites, they've got some great offers for new customers e.g. free £10 bet, double your stake on your first bet up to £20, money back on first bet if you don't win etc. seems a good idea for those of us who bet v v rarely/don't fancy hanging around a bookies?

My usual bet is an (un)lucky 15 @25pew costing 7.5 poond.
Because I haven't a load of interest in the GN I've put 2.5 poond ew on 'em.
A 10GBP bet is quite rare for me, although I'll put a tenner on win/win at the Riverside today.
My biggest bets tend to be with Mr Bond, Mr ISA, and Mr Threadneedle etc.
